    Default Big Rag Horn down........but not out

    To all our friends old and new;
    Some of you may know that elkslayer4x5 had a scare on the way home from a shoot the other day.

    He hydroplaned coming out of a curve did a 180 and managed to sort of stop befor the bank gave way and a slow slide into the river, rear hubs are in the water and it was rising

    we thought all was well..the next day he was flat worn out. After tring to sleep it of so to speak it was aperant something was wrong.
    He drove him self the 30 miles to the ER..

    Spent most of yesterday to find out he was suffering from congestive heart failure @ this point I got a call from the ER..

    Telling me that they are going to be shipping him 2 1/2 hours south to Santa Rosa ( our home town) via ambulance.. spoke to 4x5 briefly on the phone..

    We knew he had a heart murmur, doc said was no big deal 3 years ago.

    Once settled in S.R they did a Echo only to discover , His un planed trip to the river triggered that into a small heart atack, they need to do an angiogram tomorrow.. To see where to go from here..

    The Ole Rag Horn is prety sure he is staring down the barrel of surgery.. But is in Good spirts... Laughing His @$$ off that we now have a Onion thread...

    I will keep you all posted
    Thanks for reading

    Elk Slayer that photo makes the accident seem much more scary than the first photo posted on the old forum. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. May the doctors use their knowledge and make decisions that can help 4X5 with a speedy recovery. He has an entire group of us forum "regulars" rooting for him from all across the country.
