    Default Won GOLD!!

Thought I'd do a bit of bragging.

Entered my first ever indoor shoot last weekend and managed to get the gold in my class. It was my first ever indoor 3D shoot, and considering I forgot my bino's to establish 10 ring, I did pretty well! I used my old Martin Lynx which I shoot with a finger tab. Ended up at a 326 out of 440...

    Default Won GOLD!!

Big time Congrats. Ringing your bell ain't bragging. More people should post of placing and winning and tell of their equipement and tackle. Just might be something there for someone to pick up on.

Two weekends ago, I just did my first 3D shoot. Day one I shot a 250/350 (35 targets), I thought not too bad for a first timer. Day two I upped it to 290/350. No prizes for my class, but sure enjoyed the shoot..

Congrats to you, and your success only proves that you don't need a new $1000 bow to do well. Keep up the good FUN.

    Default Awe Shucks...

...Thanks fellas! So far everyone I've told has been real happy for me, buddy I went to the shoot with is an experienced 3D'er and he couldn't believe how well both me and my brother did for our first shoot. My brother placed 5th in hunter release, but would have fared a lot better had he brought his bino's as well. Next shoot we'll be sure to remember the bino's and see if we can't up the ante!
