my first bow was a brand new browning micro midas, recommended to me as a good learners bow, and easy to resell. good reliable bow, with plenty of draw length and draw weight adjustment available. i now shoot a martin mystic.

In all technicalities it actually wasn't wearing the Bear name, but rather the "Escalade Sports" name.

my brother's granddaughter can pull about 15 pounds but that's about it to start (she's 9 years old). we looked at several for her and while he kinda like the Fuse pink bow, i thought it looked alot like the old Whisper Creek kid's bow which frankly never impressed me.

so, what do you all think about the Genesis for a youngster who's going to be using it for 4-H and just plinking around? NASP is getting strong there in OK.

i had an older PSE Fitzgerald kids bow that supposedly was 40 pound max. I tightened it down and it went to 53 pounds! I backed it out the recommended max of four turns and it was still over 40 pounds. i wish now i had checked it out better when i bought it for my granddaughter a few years ago. can i bash PSE now???
