What was your first bow

Hmmmmm.....I wonder how you could possibly get into trouble with a recurve??

I would set up a target next to the neighbors garage and I had many passthrus the problem was the garage was the old tin wall type, cheap to build and was light and airy. Well the arrows would go straight through the tin walls and just so happens that is where the storm windows were kept. Well arrows + glass = alot of my allowance going to pay for the mess. LOL not to mention all the little critters I would bring home and ask my mom to cook, Mom's don't seem to like that especially when they already have plans for dinner. HAHA

I'm sure the target was moved after that. I never hit anything like that with my longbow, because Dad made sure that I was shooting in a safe direction. There were a few fiberglass arrows that found their way past the target and into the woods though.

my first one was my dads old martin cougar mag i got it when he upgraded to a pse polaris express. i was only like 8 or 9 not sure how safe it was but we put longer bolts with spacers in the limbs and a had shorter string made so it was down to 25 lbs so i could shoot

Saw that also, gotta remember that some states have very liberal bag limits on deer. Some are as much as a deer a day during archery season.

Sorry, brain freeze! Oh yeh, blackhawk avenger recurve, 42#, 52". Just gave it to a youngster wanting to learn traditional shooting.
