my 06 slayer has a 28" dl 60# pull shoots a 423gr.400 spined arrow at 270 fps. 67# KE. decided to switch 100gr. tip for 125's increased the wieght to 448gr. the groups got alot better. went to the pro shop today to check the speed 258 fps unacceptable to me. My buddy hands me a easton flatline 500 spine weight 328 gr. we shoot it 298fps. 40 fps difference is there a happy medium here the KE went down to 63# which is not significate to me what do you all think

I'd opt for a arrow around 375 to 380 grs. Still in the 60 ft lb range. This will stop anything on the North American Continent....if the arrow is place properly. I've had complete pass throughs on whitetail out to 36 yards.
