Usually the difference between the two is whether you are right handed or left. A right handed person will usually go with a right helical feather and left handed with a left helical. It has to do with the way it spins coming off the bow for the archer when the bow is canted. Hope this helps.

On the order of cyclepath. Really doesn't make a difference, just don't mix them.

Left wing feathers you need left helical, right wing feathers needs right helical.

If you are fletching your arrows it matters as was said that you not mix them. If you are detail oriented then follow the left and right shooters preference. Being right handed I stick with right helical. Fletch and buy all my feathers that way.
