What method of tuning do you prefer?

so I'm not sold on walkback tuning yet either.

Really its more tuning at long distance. When you make adjustments at distance, the fine tuning makes less of a difference up close so walk back tuning seems to work.

I have had and seen some bows that were grossly out of tune and still shot arrows with target/field points into scary tight groups even at long range.

We like to have a tuned bow but unless you have erratic flight an untuned bow will shoot more accurate than we are capable of.

Paper first, then adjust if required with walkback.
Broadhead with hunting bows.
I creep tune as well just to make sure the bow setup is ok with my hold.
